My Approach
Embodied Work gives you the tools to understand and address psychosocial hazards in your workplace, mitigating the risk of psychological injury and ensuring the psychological safety and well-being of you and your colleagues.

My workshops are designed and tailored to provide people with the knowledge, skills and resources to navigate the stressors, risks and triggers of their unique work exceptionally, and to thrive in their personal and professional lives.

My experiential workshops honour somatic and adult learning principles, designed to help people embody and integrate their learning via unique interaction with their own systems, each other, and their environment.

People can be confident to walk away from workshops with a set of resources that can be used immediately and in real-time to enhance the wellbeing of themselves, their colleagues and their clients.
I've had the privilege of working recently with:

"Nick has delivered several highly successful workshops for the legal profession in Tasmania.
His sessions consistently receive top level accolades from participants, who value his informative and down-to-earth approach.
Nick explains the theory in an easy-to-digest manner whilst elaborating on many of the concepts heard nowadays like people-focused leadership, mindfulness, centering, and trauma-informed approaches.
Participants come away from his workshops appreciating that these are not simply buzzwords. They are armed with the knowledge to understand exactly what these concepts and practices mean, and most importantly, how to apply them."

Carissa Webster (in previous role as Professional Development Officer at ACT Law Society, 2021)
"Nick has proved an invaluable resource for the Legal, Integrity and Investigations team. His knowledge of contemporary issues in well-being is impressive. He demonstrates a deep understanding of the science of well-being and supports his views with a solid evidence base.
Being genuinely empathetic is a stand out feature of Nick's service delivery. As a result he connects on a very personal basis with all of our team including lawyers, integrity managers, investigators, administrative staff and myself.
Nick's group presentations are highly professional and engaging. He provides real life examples which are targeted to his audience. My experience in attending his workshops is that team members engage with both the subject matter and Nick as a presenter.
There were some sceptical team members when this program was first introduced. I can confidently say that because of Nick's style of delivery and his passion for the subject those members are now some of his most vehement supporters."
