People Focused Leadership

This workshop aims to equip leaders with the relevant knowledge and skills to perform their roles, and support their people with confidence, competence and wellness. It will explore:

​

  • The core principles of People Focused Leadership, allowing creation of a psychologically safe and healthy climate

  • The core responsibilities of leaders, in terms of risk management and review of psychosocial hazards, in line with the amended regulations governed by WorkSafe Australia - including compliance and relational responsibilities 

  • Resources to enhance self awareness, self regulation, recovery and reflective practice - and model the same

  • Structures and practices to foster trust, connection, compassion and collegiality

  • Frameworks and skills to support employees and navigate through complex & sensitive issues in the workplace (including psychological injuries, return-to-work, interpersonal conflict, behavioural issues, complex mental health issues, performance issues and / or major organisational / industry change)

  • Explore the ways to increasing 'perceived organisational support, and therefore collective wellbeing and productivity
